Health check in Tarija

On Tuesday 18 August the first physician health check took place for the scholarship recipients of the program ‘Student boarding in host families’ in San Luis de Palqui, in Tarija. The data is being collected as an ongoing general health record of the children. This will ensure a good medical support guaranteed in the future. Happily all the children are completely healthy and have normal weights for their size.

In addition, the local coordinator, Marlene Mirales, was pleased with the visit of health personnel from Ñoquera, which is located 8 kilometres from San Luis de Palqui. Together they checked over the pediatric medicines which were specially donated to the students in Tarija by Dr. Vida Carrasco.
