A confident look at 2026
31.12.2025
Trouble, social unrest and natural disaster tend to dominate news in and from Bolivia. So, the results of a recent poll are quite surprising: More than 80% of Bolivians expect changes for the better in the coming year.
That sort of optimism will enhance the work of The Village Foundation in 2026, too. Access to education in remote communities, better rural schools with safe drinking water and food growing, informed participation of local people in community decisions, women with self-esteem in the migrant belts of the big city – all that is possible when we bring together the desire to change and self-help capacity of local people with the willingness of our friends and sponsors to help. We have lived that since 1991. It will be our guideline in Bolivia’s 201st year of independence, too.
