Pipe water for host mothers in Copacabana
29.05.2017
Last month we started a very special complementary project, for our Student Lodging scholars and host mothers. “Access to pipe water and sanitation”. Twelve of the thirteen host mothers, who host our scholars this year, have no access to pipe water or adequate bathroom. Some have toilets without water at home; others have to use the school’s bathrooms. Every morning they have to go to the main plaza to fill buckets of water for cooking, washing clothes and personal hygiene.
