Mother’s Day was celebrated in Bolivia on May 27. On the occasion of this special day, the cosmetics course of our project “Violence against Women in the Migrant City of El Alto” got involved in a home for the elderly. In addition to offers to strengthen the personality, the women had learned a lot about facial care, makeup and customer contact as part of the professional training in this course in recent months. For Mother’s Day, women from the course now offered their learned services, such as facial massage or day makeup, free of charge at the retirement home for the women living there – a great opportunity for the course participants to gain their first customer experience. The women in the retirement home enjoyed the action very much and let themselves be pampered.
