Beginning of the Semester in El Alto and Personal Hygiene in Copacabana
Saturday March 31st, 2018

In March, the new semester of technical training courses for migrant women began at our Casa del Futuro in El Alto. As last year, we offer women the opportunity to strengthen their technical capacities; these participants may also attend several transversal courses for their personal development. For example, we offer courses on family violence against women. We are pleased to have been distinguished, together with other organizations for our commitment
to migrant women by the Municipal Government of El Alto on March 8th, commemorating International Women’s Day.

For all Copacabana students we organize, this month, in cooperation with the Mayor’s Office of Yunchará, a workshop on the importance of personal hygiene. The correct technique of brushing teeth, the importance of washing hands regularly and the hygiene of the body in general were discussed. At the end of the event everyone received a toothbrush and toothpaste.
