Active support for our Weekly Boarding Schools
Wednesday May 31st, 2023
International interns and volunteers are an enrichment for Fundación Pueblo and provide important impulses for our work. They support the daily work in one of our programs and, depending on their interest, can also carry out their own small projects. In doing so, they gain an intensive insight into our work and Bolivian society.
In the last weeks intern Charlotte from Germany worked in our Weekly Boarding Schools in Indigenous Families in Tentaguazu and Copacabana. In cooperation with the teachers, she supported the English and computer lessons. Furthermore, she accompanied a plastic collection campaign in the community of Tentaguazu. To document our project work, she also prepared life stories of host mothers and scholarship holders.
We welcome inquiries from other volunteers and interns to our mail: freundeboliviens@fundacionpueblo.org.
