Visit from the “Friends of Bolivia”
Thursday July 30th, 2015
At the end of July we were able to look forward again to a visit from Germany. Richard Berger and Christiane Lettow-Berger from the association “Friends of Bolivia eV”, which has supported us for many years, were accompanied by Eike and Maria Hallitzky. They were able to see at first hand the Foundation’s projects that they support here in Bolivia. As a prelude, a working breakfast in the office of the Fundación Pueblo was arranged where the current situation of the country was analysed by the foundation’s staff and respected speakers of Bolivia. In El Alto, our guests met with the Head of the Department of Human Development of the municipal administration to explore intersections between our projects and activities of the city government. A trip to Yanacachi and a visit to the “Weekly Boarding in Indigenous Families” program in Tarija follows on a visit program that extends to August.
