In September, our Student Family Accommodation in Copacabana, Tarija, received a special visit. Host mothers from Colquechaca Municipality, North Potosí were invited. In this region, our project has working since 2005. After receiving both financial and personnel support in their first years, and after several managements the City Hall states that the Student Housing is independent and has its own financing. A magnificent success regarding the sustainability of our work! It shows that our intensive efforts for cooperation with municipalities are worth it. Students in the communities have long-term possibility of completing their primary education. Our scholars received their Potosí guests with traditional dances and songs. After the welcoming ceremony, the Yunchara Mayor and other local authorities, host mothers and project coordinators were offered many opportunities for mutual exchange.
