New initiatives at the start of the second half of the year
Monday July 31st, 2023
After three weeks of winter vacation, our scholarship holders returned to their classrooms on July 24. There was great reason for joy at the Tentaguazu Boarding School in Indigenous Families, where we were able to hand over the second set of multipurpose furniture to the scholarship holders at the beginning of the second half of the year. The furniture allows the children to store their laundry and personal belongings in their modest guest rooms and to do their homework at the integrated desks. We handed over the first set of furniture a year ago.
In addition, our colleagues in El Alto have been busy this month promoting the new project “Women against environmental degradation and violence: for an inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable city”. This month interested women were able to sign up for the classes that will begin next month. We will share about it in the August Chaksi!
